Teaching my fellow educators how to bring out the best in their neurodivergent students is my passion and expertise! I am a graduate of Penn State and Columbia Universities and have been an educator for over 25 years – teaching, consulting, and leading in schools all over the country, from Atlanta to New York City to the Bay Area.

I believe that all children learn differently, and when we honor those qualities that make them unique, all children are capable of achieving great things. The best way to guide a child on their learning journey is to be really curious about who they are as a person and find out what lights their spark. As educators, we should come to school ready to listen and open to understanding. We are all lifelong learners, and I believe that our students’ families can teach us a lot. A communicative partnership goes a long way toward building the village necessary to support all children.

I am passionate about honoring each child’s needs, aligning my work with my school’s mission to inspire joyful learning, build connections, and empower students. I love getting out into the community for public speaking engagements and leading professional development on topics like classroom differentiation, experiential learning, student wellness, artificial intelligence, and family partnerships.
